Thompson Hosting Job Fair Aug. 8

Thompson Health is inviting the community to a Job Fair on Thursday, Aug. 8, from 2 to 4 p.m. in the Constellation for Health and Healing at Thompson Hospital, 350 Parrish St. in Canandaigua.

The health system is Ontario County’s largest employer and was named to the 2024 

Becker’s Hospital Review

 list of “Top 150 Places to Work in Healthcare.” F.F. Thompson Hospital has received Magnet® designation from the American Nurses Credentialing Center consistently since 2004, and the health system’s M.M. Ewing Continuing Care Center has a five-star rating from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services.

Currently, there are openings for nurses, radiology technicians, a Diagnostic Imaging nurse leader, an assistant nurse manager in long-term care, nurse practitioners and physician assistants at the urgent care locations, medical social workers, pharmacy professionals, physical therapists/athletic trainers, entry-level Nutrition Services associates, and positions within insurance/billing.

Pediatric Nurse Receives Thompson’s ‘DAISY’CANANDAIGUA –Marissa LeBlanc, BSN, RN, is the latest UR Medicine Thompson Health recipient of The DAISY Award for Extraordinary Nurses.LeBlanc, a resident of Farmington, first joined Thompson in 2021 and is a nurse with Canandaigua Medical Group Pediatrics.
