Tickets Available for Aug. 28 Thompson âSoirĂŠeâ
Tickets are available for the F.F. Thompson Foundationâs annual gala, taking place the evening of Thursday, Aug. 28, at Lincoln Hill Farms, 3792 Route 247 in Canandaigua.
With Genesee Construction as the presenting sponsor and a theme of âThe Sweet Arrival SoirĂŠe,â proceeds will benefit the planned expansion of Thompson Hospitalâs Birthing Center, which this year is projected to welcome more than 800 babies.
Individual tickets are $250 apiece and available at www.ThompsonHealth.com/Soiree, where some sponsorship opportunities remain.
The gala begins at 5:30 p.m. with cocktails, hors dâoeuvres and live music by Dave Turner by Lincoln Hill Farmsâ silos. Following dinner in the Sunflower Hill Tent, there will be a cash call and dancing, with live music from Rolling Heads.
Seating is limited, with suggested attire described as ârelaxed and refined.â In keeping with the candy theme, bright colors are encouraged.

Participants Sought for Ferris Hills Car Show
Ferris Hills at West Lake is inviting classic car owners to its annual Car Show! The event will take place from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 4, at Ferris Hills at West Lake, 1 Ferris Hills in Canandaigua.
This is an informal show with many independent living and assisted living residents who love to see cars. There will be live music and hot dogs on the grill.. To RSVP, call (585) 393-0410.
The group is facilitated by Occupational Therapist and Licensed Massage Therapist Angela Kiklowicz, whose certifications include Complete Decongestive Therapy for the treatment of lymphedema and other chronic swelling disorders.
