š„© Farm Bureau Fills Grocery Gap with Meat Voucher Donation
After a fire shut down Ovidās only grocery store, the Seneca County Farm Bureau donated $1,600 in local meat vouchers to help residents in need. The donation supports both families and local farmers by redirecting funds to a Romulus market.

Canandaigua Lady Cruise to Benefit Thompson Health Guild Program
CANANDAIGUA ā The Thompson Health Guildās Associate Education Fund will benefit from a Friday, Sept. 5 āCruise for a Causeā on the Canandaigua Lady.
Open to the public, the 90-minute, scenic boat ride will set off from the Ladyās dock, 205 Lakeshore Drive, at 4:30 p.m. Passengers are asked to arrive by 4 p.m.
Tickets are $35 per person. The boat is handicap accessible with two bathrooms on board. No outside food or beverage is permitted on the boat, which has a full-service bar where snacks and beverages ā both alcoholic and non-alcoholic ā are sold.
A percentage of the proceeds from both cruise tickets and bar sales will benefit the Guild, a nonprofit fundraising organization helping Thompson Health expand its facilities, purchase needed equipment, and offer helpful programs for patients, senior living residents, staff, and community members. Its Associate Education Fund puts as much as $10,000 annually toward helping Thompson associates attain education and professional certifications. Over the past 10 years, this fund has helped over 50 associates enhance their skills and acquire new training.

Momsā Support Group Meets Sept. 3
UR Medicine Thompson Healthās new support group for moms, āThe Milk Bar,ā will meet from 10 a.m. to noon on Wednesday, Sept. 3.
The meeting will take place in the Birthing Center classroom on the second floor of Thompson Hospital, 350 Parrish St.
The group is intended to be āa safe and nurturing space designed for moms to come together, share experiences, and support one another on their motherhood journey.ā It is hosted by Thompsonās lactation consultant, Courtney Stuhlman, but is for all moms, whether or not they are breastfeeding. Babies are welcome, as are children up to age 2.
The group meets the first Wednesday of every month. For more information, call 585-396-6295.

Craft your own greeting cards with instructor Sally. The cost is $20 per person and includes everything you need to make four cards with envelopes. Registration required.
