Physician Joins Thompson’s Victor Family Practice
Dr. Kevin Kapcio recently joined Victor Family Practice, where he is accepting new patients.
After obtaining a Bachelor of Science from the University of South Florida in St. Petersburg, Dr. Kapcio completed medical school at the Jagiellonian University Medical College in KrakĂłw, Poland. He did his family medicine residency at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in El Paso.

Board-certified in family medicine, Dr. Kapcio also was a postdoctoral research fellow in the Division of Thoracic and Foregut Surgery at the University of Rochester.

Thompson’s Grief Support Group to Meet Jan. 9
On Friday, Jan. 9, UR Medicine Thompson Health will host its monthly Grief Support Group from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. in the George M. Ewing Jr. Conference Room, located on the ground floor of the Constellation Center for Health and Healing at Thompson Hospital, 350 Parrish St.
The group meets on the second Friday of each month. For information, call Thompson’s Spiritual Care office at 585-396-6486.
