Holiday Hours for Thompson Urgent Cares Announced

UR Medicine Thompson Health’s urgent care centers in Canandaigua and Newark have limited hours over the holidays.

The Canandaigua location, at 699 S. Main St., and the Newark location, at 800 West Miller St., will be open from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on both Christmas Eve (Dec. 24) and New Year’s Eve (Dec. 31).

Both the Canandaigua and Newark locations will be closed on Christmas Day (Dec. 25) and New Year’s Day (Jan. 1).

With record patient volumes, ongoing COVID-19 surges and more, UR Medicine Thompson Health staff members are digging deep and providing needed care. But it is not easy.

Many community members – who have been amazingly supportive already - have asked what else they can do to show appreciation. In response, the health system asking that cards be sent to "Thompson’s Heroes" in care of the F.F. Thompson Foundation, 350 Parrish St., Canandaigua, NY 14424.
