Thompson Health Urgent Care Locations to Expand Hours
All three of Thompson’s urgent care centers are expanding their hours beginning Sunday, February 22.
Seven days per week, the hours will be 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. at each location:
Canandaigua, at 699 S. Main St.
Farmington, at 1160 Corporate Drive
Newark, 800 W. Miller St.
Patient registration at each of the locations will be available until 7:45 p.m. each evening.
Thompson Health Director of Emergency Medicine Administration Grant Alef said the primary driver of this change is patient access.
“A necessary component of serving our patients and community is being accessible, and this change provides consistent availability at all three locations,” Alef said, adding, “It should help patients avoid delays in care and contribute to overall better outcomes and service.”
Thompson Health Executive Vice President/COO Kurt Koczent noted the expansion builds on the continued success of Thompson’s urgent care teams, who have earned 97th percentile patient satisfaction scores through Press Ganey surveys, with 99th percentile for the Canandaigua location. “These results reflect our strong culture of quality, compassionate care, and our commitment to delivering an exceptional patient experience,” he said.
For more information about the three locations, visit www.ThompsonHealth.com/UrgentCare.

Their top recommendation is, of course, to quit smoking.. Read more.
