Introducing Hot Brands 2023: Weis Vineyards winebusiness.com Hans Peter Weis had always planned to make his career in winemaking. The sixth generation of a German winemaking family based in Mosel, he knew that one day he would end up tending to the family’s land and winegrapes and stewarding them through to bottle. “As a little kid, growing up in a small family winery, customers asked me, ‘What do you want to be?’ It’s like, ‘I don’t know why you’re asking me.’ I feel like it was always kind of being a winemaker, working with wine, and there was never something else,” he said. Discover more about the Weis family and their winery located in the heart of the Finger Lakes in Wine Business Monthly's annual list of Hot Brands.

Take out, delivery, and restaurants can become quite expensive over time and, frankly, not all are as nutritious as you might think. If you are turning your thoughts to more home cooking and want to improve your skills, here are a few tips you might consider. Read more.

Pasta and Beans
You may have heard it called pasta fazool or pasta fasule; this is an Italian dish that has many regional variants. It is a warming meal that you can pull together rather quickly using pretty much pantry items. The type of pasta should be small and round. You can also add meat to the mix.
