Thompson Names Its Associate of the Year, Shining Stars
UR Medicine Thompson Health held its annual Shining Stars Awards Ceremony on May 7, naming Linda Gross of Clyde as its Associate of the Year and presenting 40 other health system associates with Shining Star Awards.
These awards are a Thompson tradition dating back more than 20 years. Recipients are nominated by other associates and voted on by a secret committee of peers from across Thompson. The number selected is based on 2% of the total number of associates within the health system.
Gross, the Associate of the Year, is a graduate nurse on the hospital’s 3 East floor, a medical/surgical unit. Described by one colleague as “an absolute angel on earth,” she is known for being a strong patient advocate and a supportive teammate.

Each winery along the trail has prepared delightful treats just for you, the most delightful of all creatures, and ample pets and belly rubs await from admirers aplenty to make your tail wag with joyous vigor.
At the very first winery you visit within the designated dates, your human will receive a ‘pooch-friendly punch card’. Should they manage to guide you to 6 or more wineries, acquire a bottle at each, and turn in their punch card at the final stop (or mail it to the wine trail office), they will enter for a chance to claim a grand prize! This versatile dry red wine is fruit forward and naturally lower in tannins than many red wines resulting in a smooth, clean finish. Should You Fence Your Yard?
Any changes in your property means you are putting out some cash and you will hope to reap the benefits from that outlay in your own comfort or convenience and then again when you decide to sell. Preventing Falls
Watching toddlers walk, especially in the early stages, you expect the occasional flop onto a posterior. Kids are always tumbling. Once mom or dad kisses the boo boo, or perhaps cleans it and puts on a cartoon adhesive bandage, he or she is off to play again.
