Thompson’s Gentle Yoga Saturday Series Begins Nov. 18
UR Medicine Thompson Health’s Wellness Department is hosting a six-week Gentle Yoga course from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. on Saturdays, Nov. 18 through Dec. 23.

Jennifer Muscato
The class will be held on the ground floor of F.F. Thompson Hospital, 350 Parrish St., in the Thompson Conference Center (TCC). Instructor Jennifer Muscato will lead a gentle mind/body workout to improve posture and increase strength and flexibility.
Pre-registration is required. The cost for the six-week session is $60 or $15 per class. Call 585-396-6111 for information and to register/pay over the phone.
Honor a Loved One Through the Tree of Lights
The Thompson Health Guild is offering community members a special opportunity to recognize and celebrate loved ones this holiday season with the annual Tree of Lights.
With a minimum donation of $10, you can sponsor a light in honor or memory of someone special. For each light purchased, the honoree(s) or their family will receive an email letting them know about your gift and inviting them to the tree lighting ceremony on Monday, December 4 at 6:30 p.m. at the M.M. Ewing Continuing Care Center, 350 Parrish Street, Canandaigua. However, the donation amount will not be listed.
A large evergreen tree located just outside of the Continuing Care Center will be decorated with hundreds of beautiful lights.
