Lymphedema Support Group Meets Feb. 20
UR Medicine Thompson Health is hosting a Lymphedema Support Group on Tuesday, Feb. 20, from 5 to 6 p.m. at its Canandaigua Rehabilitation Center, 699 S. Main St.
The group is facilitated by Occupational Therapist and Licensed Massage Therapist Angela Kiklowicz, whose certifications include certification in Complete Decongestive Therapy for the treatment of lymphedema and other chronic swelling disorders.

Mental Health First Aid Classes Offered by Thompson
Over the past several months, Thompson Health’s Wellness Department has been offering Mental Health First Aid classes to Thompson staff members who are interested in learning how to identify, understand, and respond to signs of mental health and substance use challenges among adults.
Now, Thompson has scheduled a class for the community.
The training – created by the National Council for Mental Wellbeing – will be held Wednesday and Thursday, Feb. 28 and 29, at Wood Library in Canandaigua. People will attend both days, from 1 to 5 p.m. each day. The cost is $32 per person, with limited space. To register, call 585-396-6111.

Cayuga Wine Trail to host Bacon on the Lakein

The Cayuga Lake Wine Trail is set to host the 9th Annual Bacon on the Lakein event on March 9th and 10th. This unique culinary experience, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on both days, pairs the rich flavors of bacon with the exquisite wines of the region, across all 10 member wineries along the scenic trail.
