Chair Yoga Classes Begin Soon at Thompson
The UR Medicine Thompson Health Wellness Department is offering Chair Yoga on a series of six Wednesdays, January 31 through March 6.
Sessions will be held from noon to 12:50 p.m. in the former outpatient Rehabilitation Services location on the ground floor of the hospital’s Constellation Center for Health and Healing. Instructor Jennifer Muscato will offer a gentle mind/body workout designed to improve strength, flexibility, and relaxation, with the occasional option to stand.
The cost is $60, or $15 per class. Preregistration and prepayment are required no later than January 27. To sign up, email

Free Breastfeeding Class Coming Up
The UR Medicine Thompson Health Wellness Department is hosting a free Introduction to Breastfeeding class at F.F. Thompson Hospital from 5 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, February 29.
Taught by Ontario County Public Health certified lactation counselors Christy Richards and Rachael Jagger, this class is intended for expecting parents who are looking for the basic skills to get their breastfeeding journey started off with confidence. Support persons are encouraged to attend this fun, interactive class providing up-to-date, research-backed lactation information.
