Some individuals and households may be able to take advantage of tax provisions to claim a charitable tax deduction for the full, fair market value of the securities -- and may avoid paying capital gains tax on the transfer.Instead of selling your investments and donating the after-tax cash proceeds, donating stock to Wood Library allows you to increase your gift and tax deductions. A gift of stock made before December 31 may reduce your tax burden for the year you donate. USA Today "10Best" Readers Choice Awards Recognize New York Wine Experiences

A panel of experts nominated top picks across 10 different wine-centric categories, then USA Today readers voted for their favorites among them.

And many of these facilities aren't just making wine; they're offering tours, hosting tastings, and even partnering with chefs to run some of the nation's top restaurants. There's nothing like getting a behind-the-scenes look at the winemaking process (while tasting along the way) to hone both your appreciation and your palate. To find the best experiences, USAToday asked a panel of wine industry experts to nominate their preferred winery tours throughout the country, then readers voted for their favorites. Read more
