NEW RELEASES: These two Chardonnays are our newest releases. They are both 2021s. The 2021 Reserve Chardonnay is a classic style Chardonnay barrel fermented in American Oak and aged sur lie (aged on the lees, i.e, yeast, pulp and skin fragments). The 2021 Reserve Chardonnay has aromas of pears, figs and apples. The Goldfinch Vineyards Chardonnay (also a Prejean Winery estate grown and produced wine) is barrel fermented in Grand Vosges Oak (French Oak) and also aged sur lie. The Goldfinch's elegant tropical fruit aromas match well with fish and poultry. Come taste them both! Which Chardonnay do you prefer? These Chardonnays are now available in the Prejean Winery Tasting Room and on-line.We are currently offering FREE SHIPPING on cases of wine (any 12 bottles).

Open daily 10am to 5:00 pm - OPEN MEMORIAL DAY

Preping Kids for Summer Camp

Every child is unique and not all are ready for away camp at the same age, if ever.  Start by listening to what they talk about.  If they hear of a summer camp and seem excited, then you can probe further.  A good option is day camp, where the child is gone for an entire day but stays in the city, often in the same neighborhood.  If your kid has never spent a night away from home or parents, there is a good chance they are not yet ready for a sleepaway. Read More.

Triple Crown of Horse Racing

Officially called the Triple Crown of Thoroughbred Racing, this is a series of three races for three-year-old thoroughbreds.  (Isn’t that an awful lot of threes?)  In 1950 the Triple Crown Trophy was commissioned and awarded to those horses who won all three of these races.  In fact, it was issued retroactively to those horses who won prior to 1950.  In addition to the trophy, the winner’s owner collects the prize money from each race, not to mention the deals that can be made for breeding rights. Read more.

Summer Sandwiches

Sandwiches are a summer staple to feed friends that are over for the day (or night), picnics, an easy dinner, or grab and go from one event to another.  Here are some choices that are a step away from the ordinary PB&J. Read More.
